Clint Gross Senior Criticality Safety Engineer Vice President, Paschal Solutions, Inc.
Clint graduated from the University of Missouri at Rolla in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nuclear Engineer. He received his Master's of Science Degree in Nuclear Engineering also from UMR in 1997. Clint's post-graduate training includes laser safety courses from the University of New South Wales and completion of the Nuclear Criticality Safety Short Course from the University of New Mexico. He also completed Station Nuclear Engineer training form Westinghouse. Since 1991, Clint has worked in the nuclear industry. His primary focus has been Nuclear Criticality Safety Engineering. Currently, Clint's position as Vice President of Paschal Solutions, Inc. involves nuclear criticality safety, laser physics, fluid dynamics, chemical process analyses and contract management. Contracts have included USEC (ATEF), USEC (PGDP), and BWXT (Navy Nuclear Fuels). Since 2002, Clint has operated a research and development facility in Paducah, KY. His research and development work includes the design and development of novel infrared lasers as sources and amplifiers as well as development of new and novel cold trapping heat exchangers. Clint worked 5 years as a reactor engineer at the Callaway Nuclear Plant (Union Electric Company). He held system engineering responsibilities for the Movable Incore Detection System (Flux Mapping System), the reactor Fuel Handling System, and the Loose Parts Monitoring System.
