Ralph Winiarski

Ralph Winiarski is an Account Manager at Paschal Solutions. He is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati, with a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering. Ralph started working for PSI in October of 2014. He has worked on the TRISO-X Fuel Fabrications Facility, helping stand up the Nuclear Criticality Safety (NCS) program to enable TRISO-X to successfully submit the first High Assay, Low Enriched Uranium (HALEU) fuel fabrication license to the NRC. Ralph supports projects for the American Centrifuge Project to help pass the Operational Readiness Review (ORR) for the NRC to enable production of HALEU. He has previously been a member of the American Nuclear Society (ANS). Ralph has written several publications for ANS. Ralph has experience at Westinghouse where he served as one of four qualified Emergency Directors (EDs) for the Columbia plant. This involved extensive training, drill participation (including the graded NRC drill), and directing emergency response activities during actual events. He was qualified to fulfil most of the supporting functions as a member of the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) as well. Ralph is the proud father of five children. In his free time, he enjoys outdoor activities including hiking and traveling. He also used to teach martial arts and has earned his second-degree black belt.
